Jacque Skowvron has seen things most NFL fans only dream of: The command center at the league's Manhattan headquarters, three Super Bowls, and a Pro Bowl. Part of the league's fan strategy group, Skowvron's marketing initiatives aim to grow the fan base and keep existing fans happy. "It's really cool that when I turn on the TV on Sundays or tune into ESPN, everyone is talking about something I'm involved in," Skowvron says. Crazy hours are the norm - Skowvron often works 60-hour weeks and travels extensively. Her work reaches the game's youngest fans through the NFL PLAY 60 and Punt, Pass & Kick programs, as well as the community at large through the NFL's Back to Football, pink breast cancer awareness, and military appreciation initiatives. Skowvron suits up on Sundays, too. From the command center, she is assigned to watch a particular game, keeping an eye on officiating and broadcast smoothness. "We report to the VP of officiating. We're his eyes and ears on every game," Skowvron says. Last year, Skowvron worked out of the NFL's London office for five months, assisting sponsors of a game at Wembley Stadium. Growing up in Pittsburgh a Steelers fan, Skowvron's been able to give her family incredible memories. "Not many people can give their family Super Bowl tickets," she says.
