Jim Waite, Director of Alumni & Constituent Relations
Jim joined the Pitt Business family as Director of Alumni and Constituent Relations in October of 2008. He and his wife Zauyah and their three children (Emma, Ian and Spencer) reside in Squirrel Hill.
Jim received his bachelor's degree in business economics from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Most recently he served as a Director of Development for the University of Toledo, Director of the Michigan Union at the University of Michigan, Assistant Director of the Memorial Union Corporation/ Director of Union Programs at the University of Kansas as well as various student affairs positions at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, University of Wisconsin-Platteville and Rush University.
In addition to 23 years of working in higher education, Jim spent four years managing his own successful restaurant and catering business in Kansas City, Missouri. He holds an Education Specialist Degrees in Higher Education Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, an MBA from Dominican University, and a Masters of Science in Recreation from Western Illinois University.
