In Memoriam: Dr. Thomas L. Saaty

Distinguished University Professor Thomas L. Saaty passed away at the age of 91. Saaty was an exceptionally gifted researcher and prolific author, and is best known as the creator of the decision-making mechanisms Analytics Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Analytic Network Process (ANP) for resolving complex problems.

Marshall P. Katz, Board of Visitors Member and former CEO of Papercraft Corporation, Dies

Marshall P. Katz, a member of the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration Board of Visitors, died on July 18 at the age of 77. He was the former president and CEO of Papercraft Corporation, the household consumer products company his family founded.
