Experience-based learning is a central focus of the Berg Center and Katz MBA program. Students accepted into the Kenneth R. Woodcock Leadership Fellows program will be placed onto the board of directors of Western Pennsylvania nonprofits and economic development corporations as guest members. In this role fellows will attend board meetings, engage with important stakeholders, and have the opportunity to work on a strategic issue facing the nonprofit organization. Woodcock Fellows gain the skills necessary to become effective organizational leaders through experiential learning that emphasizes civic engagement, social entrepreneurship, and social responsibility.
