CBA junior Erica Simpson has a busy year ahead of her. The New Jersey native is pursuing a challenging program of study that includes a double major in finance and marketing, a minor in economics, and a Certificate in International Business. She also was selected as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant (UTA) for this fall term, and will be putting her leadership skills to work as president of the Roberto Clemente Minority Business Association (RCMBA). Once again the Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence (IEE) is sponsoring its annual Big Idea Competition. The event brings together like-minded students from across the University of Pittsburgh to compete for thousands of dollars in prizes, including three $5,000 awards for the top submissions in each of the competition's three categories: new product, new service, and business growth.
