International Locations
Beijing, People's Republic of China
With its rapid economic growth, China has continued to gain global attention over the last decade. This continued growth makes Beijing a strategic location for U.S. business students to gain valuable global business knowledge. As a result of hosting the Olympics in 2008, Beijing has become well-equipped to host the international community.
Madrid, Spain
As Spain's largest city, political capital and business center, Madrid offers students a dynamic perspective on present day Spain. Spain is the fourth largest economy on the European continent, and Madrid is a major financial center of southern Europe and headquarters for three of the world's 100 largest companies. In addition, Madrid has been noted culturally as a city of passion and drama with its rich flamenco and bullfighting traditions as well as world-class museums. Students will live and work in Madrid and will depend upon public transportation systems in getting to and from their internship sites.
Paris, France - NEW!
Named as one of the most influential cities in the world and a "European City of the Future" by the Financial Times, Paris is a leading cultural and business center. As the second largest city economy in Europe and home to 37 of the world's Fortune Global 500 companies, the City of Light will offer CBA students the opportunity to intern with some of today's most influential companies. Students will also have the chance to explore the 3,800 historical monuments and four UNESCO World Heritages Sites that have made Paris the world's most visited city. Participants will live and work in Paris and rely on public transportation in getting to and from their internship sites.
Berlin, Germany - NEW!
Located in the heart of Europe, Berlin serves as the political, economic, and cultural capital of Germany. With an economy that is based primarily on the service sector, Berlin will offer CBA students the opportunity to intern in a wide range of positions, including creative industries, media corporations and more tradition companies. During their free time, students will have the chance to explore the festivals, museums, and architecture that have made the city famous. Students in Berlin will live in the city and rely on public transportation in getting to and from their internship sites.
Salvador de Bahía, Brazil - NEW!
Salvador de Bahía is often referred to as "The Capital of Happiness" because of its easygoing population and beautiful beaches, which attract millions of tourists every year. This has created a vibrant economy that will give CBA students unique internship opportunities with NGOs, social enterprises, travel, tourism, and more traditional business organizations.
