Requirements
- Year in School: must be at least a second semester freshman
- GPA: must be at least a 2.75. If your GPA is below, please write a cover letter explaining why you should be considered for the program and submit it along with your application.
- Number of Weeks of Internship: 10
- Hours per week: 10
- Assignments: will be assigned by faculty advisor
- Performance Appraisals: will be filled out by your internship supervisor and returned to CBA Career Services and your faculty advisor at the midpoint and end of the semester
- In order to apply for this internship, your employer MUST BE REQUIRING you to take the internship for credit. This will be verified by CBA Career Services staff
Application Process
- Download the Elective Internship Application
- Application MUST be filled out in its entirety. Incomplete applications will not be processed
- You and your work supervisor must sign the application prior to turning it in
- Submit your application, along with a hire letter and job description on company letterhead, to CBA Career Services
- If your application is approved, you and your academic advisor will be notified. If you need to drop a class at this time, please communicate that with your advisor
- You are responsible for contacting Dr. Neff regarding your internship assignments.
