Rachel is quite involved on campus and holds positions in a number of organizations. She is a sister of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority and has recently been elected president. She has also served as sisterhood chair, efficiency chair, and as a recruitment counselor for Pitt's chapter of the National Panhellenic Conference. Rachel is very interested in business on a global scale and is active on the executive board of the Society for International Business.

Rachel is pursuing a challenging academic program and has enhanced her plan of study with several courses through the University Honors College. She also had a fantastic international experience when she was one of six students who participated in Pitt's first exchange program in Montevideo, Uruguay. The three-week summer course focused on global supply networks and the manufacturing culture in Latin America.

Most of all, Rachel enjoys teaching other undergraduates what she has learned in CBA, having been a teacher’s assistant for the course Management in Complex Environments for almost a year. She also earned a position as a Freshmen Team Leader, which involves co-teaching CBA’s orientation course for freshmen.

Rachel’s postgraduation goals are to complete law school; work in upper management for her dream company, Disney; and teach a course or two at a university. While still at Pitt, however, Rachel plans to continue her involvement in campus activities, strengthen her academic skills, and develop lifelong friendships.
