In its seventh year, the University of Pittsburgh's College of Business Administration, in partnership with the Swanson School of Engineering, sent a record number of participants abroad with the award winning Managing in Complex Environments/ENG 12 Plus3 study abroad program. A total of 107 students participated in this year's program, 39 CBA students and 68 Engineering students, at four destinations including Santos, Brazil; Valparaiso, Chile; Beijing, China; and Augsburg, Germany.

According to the most recent annual report of the Pitt Study Abroad Office, the number of CBA students studying abroad rose significantly last year. Students studied in a wide range of countries, including Australia, Spain Germany, India, Thailand, Bulgaria, and Cyprus.

Study Abroad Coordinator Brings Enthusiasm and Experience to Role >

Krysta HoughamThis year, CBA has been pleased to welcome a new team member.  Krysta Hougham took the reins as the CBA Study Abroad Coordinator in October 2007 and has quickly acclimated to life at Pitt.  The position of CBA Study Abroad Coordinator brings together several of Hougham’s key interests, including working with students, business, and international travel.
