Top 5 Reasons to Join the CBA Living Learning Community
1. Meet Other CBA students
Pitt is a big university. Living with other business students is an easy way to get to know freshmen who share common goals and interests. You can meet friends who will be with you in classes, organizations, and events throughout your time in CBA and beyond.
2. Build important relationships with members of the CBA faculty, staff and administration
You can have unique opportunities to meet with CBA faculty, staff, as well as Dean John Delaney and Associate Dean Edward Palascak at such events as: "CBA Meet and Greet" social hour; movie nights with Professor Ray Jones; sporting events; the Annual Business Etiquette Dinner; and cultural outings with Dr. Palascak followed by dinner and discussion.
3. Succeed in your classes
You can join study groups with floor mates who are taking the same classes as you, such as calculus and economics. Having help from your neighbors with homework, or working together on group projects such as the one in your first full business course--Managing in Complex Environments--can make a big difference in getting your academic career off to a good start.

Get the inside scoop on how successful businesses operate by listening to guest speakers and attending other professional events. And, the annual Business Etiquette dinner is hosted by corporate recruiters; you can start networking early!

The LLC belongs to the studentsit's up to you to take advantage of CBA's many resources by showing initiative and making things happen. With the help of your RA, you can plan the types of social, professional, and community service events that sound exciting to you and your friends. The CBA LLC attracts a diverse group of intelligent and creative students who are natural born leaders; put your heads together and who knows what you'll come up with!
