Elise Boyas began her professional career with Price Waterhouse (currently PricewaterhouseCoopers) in Hackensack, New Jersey, where she progressed to the position of senior auditor. She has held several positions in the area of financial reporting in private industry. More recently, she has held positions in higher education at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio, and Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey, where she taught a wide variety of courses in financial and management accounting at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. She is a certified public accountant (inactive) in New Jersey and a certified management accountant (inactive).
