Profile
Madeline J. Carlin’s primary teaching responsibilities focus on financial accounting and federal taxation at the undergraduate level(s). Professional involvement includes memberships in the American Accounting Association, the AICPA, and the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs.
University service includes serving as faculty advisor to the University of Pittsburgh Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi and as vice president of the undergraduate division of Beta Gamma Sigma; Faculty Assembly, and the Undergraduate Programs Policy Committee; serving as coordinator of undergraduate scholarships in the area of accounting; serving as faculty advisor for internships; and coordination of several courses in the undergraduate accounting curriculum. Annual panel moderator for both the Corporate Express and the Internship Café.
