Profile

Professor Donohoe is actively engaged in managing the business school's strategy and outreach efforts in the area of supply chain management. He is a member of several professional organizations and regional development groups, with the purpose of establishing and promoting both student and academic collaborative opportunities with business partners.

Prior to the University of Pittsburgh, Donohoe was the program manager and principal investigator (PI) at California University of Pennsylvania, on the largest Department of Defense contract managed at that university and was responsible for securing over 2.4M in funding. He is an experienced information technology executive, with over 25 years of service in both business and military leadership roles. During his career, Donohoe managed large scale international IT organizations, multi-million dollar budgets, and complex information technology projects; all focused on the effective delivery of IT services that were aligned to the business or military strategy. He has lead organizations at various US locations, Hong Kong, Shenzhen (China) Subic Bay (Philippines), France and Germany. Additionally, Donohoe retired at the rank of Major, from the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, where he was the 171st Air Refueling Wing Communication Squadron Commander.
