Profile
William E. Hefley is a clinical associate professor of business administration. A member of the decisions, operations and information technology faculty, Hefley earned his PhD in organization science and information technology from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in 1998. He holds master's degrees in engineering and public policy from CMU and in systems management from the University of Southern California. In addition to serving as associate teaching professor in its Institute for Software Research, at CMU Hefley was program director of the Master of Science in Information Technology, IT Service Management Program; a member of the core faculty of the PhD program in computation, organizations, and society; an affiliated faculty member of the MBA Track in Technology Leadership program and the Masters of Information Systems Management program; and a member of the Human-Computer Interaction Institute.
