Career Planning and Management

At the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, we offer a personalized approach to your career plan and progression. We are your partner in a lifelong process of career management and provide personalized coaching and assistance in identifying and articulating your career goals, developing your personalized career plan, identifying and enhancing your career strengths, and addressing your career gap areas.

The following resources are available to all full- and part-time MBA students registered with CSC:

  • Access to the EASE recruiting system, which includes job postings and recruiter contacts;
  • Internet-based interview scheduling for on-campus employment opportunities;
  • Inclusion in the Katz Résumé Directory, which is accessible via the Internet to corporate contacts and alumni;
  • Access to all CSC-provided Internet resources and databases which include: CareerLeader™, CareerBeam, InterviewStream, and Vault;
  • The Milestones Career Path Handbook published by Katz Career Services;
  • One-on-one personal career coaching;
  • Assistance in developing your personal career plan;
  • Networking assistance, including tips, training, and contacts;
  • Mock Interview Day conducted by key employer contacts;
  • Videotaped interview sessions with the Career Services Team or InterviewStream;
  • Networking trips and receptions with alumni in key cities;
  • All CSC job search workshops;
  • Access to a telephone and fax machine for job search purposes; and
  • Participation in career fairs.

For international students: Katzport provides targeted instruction on immigration law and procedure to achieve a swift and seamless placement.

When We Work With You

The Katz Career Service Team serves as the intermediary between Katz students and our corporate recruiting partners, and works with each MBA program in the manner that best serves the mutual needs of both groups. Read more about when we interact with you:
