University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School EMBA Program

Build Your Global EMBA Network

Experience the difference of a truly global MBA. At Katz, you’ll connect with classmates in Pittsburgh and São Paulo. You begin the program together, take the same courses, and graduate as one cohort. We even fly Katz professors into each location to deliver lectures in person. The experience is so identical that you can conceivably begin the program in one location and switch to another midway through, and still graduate on time.

Our Global Executive Forums (GEFs) break down the geographical and cultural barriers between you and your classmates. Regardless of where you study, you’ll travel to each location for a week of global business and cultural immersion activities. The GEFs provide insights into regional business practices, and political, economic, and social conditions. You’ll complete four GEFs in total, held at the beginning, midpoint, and end of the program.

Through the GEFs, you’ll learn to harness the power of your global network. You’ll see that students from each location bring a unique global perspective. You’ll build strategic relationships across North America and South America. The relationships will be a valuable asset as you move forward in your career.
