Joseph M. Katz Diversity Scholarship
Open to African American, Hispanic American, and Native American candidates. The award is made during the admissions process and is both merit based and need based. A student applying to the JD/MBA program at the University of Pittsburgh is eligible to receive funding from both the Law School and Business School.
Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business/ NBMBAA Pittsburgh Chapter MBA
Applicants must be minority students (U.S. Citizen or Immigrant/Permanent Resident) who plan to enter the full-time MBA program at the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business in the fall. Awardees may be awarded up to a full-tuition scholarship plus a stipend. Also, he/she will receive membership to the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) and will attend the annual Recognition and Scholarship Gala each year that they are enrolled in the MBA program.

Pittsburgh Chapter NBMBAA Graduate Scholarship
New and returning minority MBA students are eligible to apply for the Pittsburgh chapter of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA). Applicants must be minority students in their first or second year, enrolled full-time or part-time in an accredited graduate business or management program during the fall, or the winter/spring of the school term and working toward a graduate degree. Applicants must be attending schools in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas so that they can receive the full benefit of an active membership in the Pittsburgh chapter of the National Black MBA Association, Inc. Awardees receive a $3,000 award.

Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business/ALPFA Pittsburgh Chapter Scholarship Award
The Pittsburgh chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) and Katz are working together to provide a scholarship award for graduate study to an ALPFA member in good standing enrolling in the full-time MBA Program.
ALPFA Pittsburgh Chapter seeks to assist the business school with its diversity recruiting initiatives and to promote the benefits of graduate-level education to ALPFA members with respect to their professional career development as well as eliminate the financial barriers to graduate management education.

National Society of Hispanic MBAs University Partnership Program
Katz is a member of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) University Partnership Program. NSHMBA and the University of Pittsburgh are committed to providing financial assistance to students admitted and enrolled in the Katz full-time MBA program. NSHMBA assists the business school with identifying candidates for recruitment and admission to the MBA program. Preference is given but is not limited to students of Hispanic heritage or students with a demonstrated commitment to the Hispanic community.

HBCU Scholarship
Awarded to graduates of historically black colleges and universities (HBCU), this scholarship supports our ties to HBCU. HBCUs have a successful record of educating students to become community leaders in all walks of life — from artists to writers to politicians and business leaders. The University of Pittsburgh has been privileged to graduate MBAs and PhDs from many HBCUs, including Howard, Morgan State, Virginia State, North Carolina A&T, Florida A&M, Hampton, and Lincoln universities, as well as Cheyney University of Pennsylvania. With this scholarship, the tradition continues.
The Horace Mann Bond-Leslie Pinckney Hill Scholarship Program
A graduate of one of Pennsylvania's two HBCUs, Lincoln University and Cheyney University, is eligible to receive a full tuition scholarship when admitted to an MBA program at the University of Pittsburgh.
