Summer Programs with the School of Engineering

Two exciting study abroad programs are available for summer 2009 for Engineering and Business students.

Universidad de Montevideo in Montevideo, Uruguay, May 15-29, 2009 This 3 credit course focuses on providing students with the fundamentals of international supply chain methods with a special focus on Latin America. Students will utilize their knowledge within a cultural context and complete an analysis of global supply networks and manufacturing in Latin America and Uruguay. R.V. College of Engineering, University of Pittsburgh, Bangalore, India August 8-22, 2009 This 3 credit course will combine lectures with visits to various industries in the culturally rich city of Bangalore, a wildlife sanctuary, and a coffee plantation. A visit to the Taj Mahal is also included. Lectures will highlight both business and engineering principles and methods within the context of the corporate India environment.
