MBA/Master of International Business Courses

MBA/MIB students are required to complete 22.5 credits of MBA core courses. These courses are consistent with the core courses that are required of all MBA students.

MBA/MIB students are required to take an additional 16.5 credits of MBA electives for a total of 39 MBA credits.

MIB Required Courses and Electives

Both Full-Time and Part-Time MBA/MIB students are required to complete 9 credits of MIB core courses.

  • BECN 2509 & 2510: Global Macro Economics I&II

  • BIND 2700: MIB Internship including a paper and oral presentation

Both Full-Time and Part-Time students are required to take an additional 16.5 MIB elective credits from the following list for a total of 25.5 MIB credits:

    *This option is only to be used as a last resort if the student is able to articulate a compelling case and a member of the faculty has agreed to oversee the course.

The student would also be able to study for up to one term abroad at a partner school including the European Business School, KEDGE Business School, the University of Augsburg or Santa Maria University to fulfill up to 12 credits of his/her MIB elective course requirements.

Students would also have the option of taking elective courses from the School of Law or the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs as long as the student has received permission from the Assistant Dean of MBA Programs.
