MBA Admissions Requirements
Work Experience
Work experience can be an important differentiator for you during the admissions process. Moreover, it is important as you seek post-MBA employment. Although work experience is not an absolute requirement for admission to the Katz MBA program, it helps us distinguish one applicant from another.
Requirements by Program
- One-Year MBA Program
- A bachelor's degree in business from an accredited U.S. university, or the non-U.S. equivalent, or a bachelor's degree in an ancillary field (e.g., economics, engineering) with some exposure to business courses, to be reviewed by the admissions committee
- Satisfactory GMAT and TOEFL (TOEFL required for applicants whose only official language of their country of citizenship is not English, even if English has been the medium of instruction) scores
- At least two years of relevant work experience
- Two-Year MBA Program

- A bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. university, or the non-U.S. equivalent
- Satisfactory GMAT and TOEFL scores (TOEFL required for applicants whose only official language of their country of citizenship is not English, even if English has been the medium of instruction)
- Work experience is preferred but may be substituted with strong academic ability, to be reviewed by the admissions committee
- Part-time MBA Program

- A bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. university, or the non-U.S. equivalent
- Satisfactory GMAT and TOEFL scores (TOEFL required for applicants whose only official language of their country of citizenship is not English, even if English has been the medium of instruction)
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English
- Evidence of work experience and demonstrated responsibility and leadership

- A minimum of three years of post-undergraduate, full-time work experience is required
- Successful candidates must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

- MBA/MS-MIS Program

- MBA/MS-Engineering Program

- MBA/JD Program

- Identify a foreign country of interest in whose native language you are proficient and where you will conduct an internship
