Students registering for 9.0 credits or more are automatically charged the full-time tuition during the fall and spring term. Students are charged per credit regardless of the number of credits taken during the summer term.
State residency is determined by the University of Pittsburgh from information you provide on your application. Your invoice will indicate your classification. A student classified as out-of-state will also receive instructions on how to appeal the classification provided their circumstances fall within the University's guidelines.
