Carrie Woods, Assistant Director

Carrie Woods manages the Katz Doctoral Program’s policies and procedures and is the student life coordinator for doctoral students. She prepares the teaching schedule, and assists the director with the assignments of graduate student research assistants to Katz faculty, and with the overall administration of the budget for the program.
In addition, Carrie processes tuition payments for research assistants and manages the administration of comprehensive examinations and dissertation processes. She maintains student records within the Katz Doctoral Program, helps students to develop a program of study, and monitors grades and program requirements. She can provide you with information about office space, access to University of Pittsburgh facilities, the Doctoral Student Organization, certification for teaching, and student transcripts.
