Students join the Katz PhD Program with a goal of becoming a professor at a leading research university. Our PhD program prepares you to conduct relevant, scholarly, publishable research and to become a lifelong expert in your field of study. In addition, you will be trained to share your specialized research expertise with and to instruct undergraduate, graduate, and executive business students.

The Katz PhD Program has a long history of producing elite researchers and teachers. Faculty mentoring begins during the application process and continues throughout the program and into your academic career.
