The University of Pittsburgh School of Business undergraduate program is ranked No. 10 among public institutions and climbs eight spots to No. 26 among all business schools in the U.S. by Poets&Quants, a leading website for business education programs.

In the 2026 Poets&Quants Best Undergraduate Business Schools ranking, released March 23, 2026, Pitt is also named the No. 1 public business school in Pennsylvania for the ninth straight year.

This national ranking is based on school and alumni surveys related to three broad components: Admissions Standards (the quality of students enrolling in a program); Academic Experience (where alumni chime in and tell P&Q about their time in the program); and Career Outcomes (whether students find both internships during the program and full-time employment after graduation).

“Our continued top ranking in Pennsylvania and rise nationally reflect the measurable outcomes our students achieve,” says Deb Good, associate dean for undergraduate programs. “With nearly all graduates securing career opportunities within six months, and the vast majority gaining hands-on and global experience, Pitt Business is delivering results that position our students to lead immediately in today’s competitive business landscape.”

For the Class of 2025, 98 percent of students were placed in their first destination within six months of graduation – earning on average about $72,000. 91 percent of students held at least one internship before graduation. 47 percent participated in a global experience before graduation, with 17 percent having participated in an international internship.
