Profile

Keith Donnelly is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Accounting and the Director of the campus’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. His research lies at the intersection of theory and practice, with interests in substantive taxation, personal financial planning, accounting education, and study abroad. He has published articles in The CPA JournalThe Journal of Taxation, and Practical Tax Strategies.

Prior to academia, Keith worked in tax at Deloitte and Schneider Downs in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He also served as a national on-screen lecturer for UWorld Accounting CPA Review and as a summer visiting faculty member at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy.

Keith has passed the Pennsylvania bar exam, the Uniform CPA exam, and the Certified Fraud Examiner exam.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Keith enjoys spending time with his family and friends. You will usually find him at a coffee shop, a public library, exercising at the gym, working on a house project, or watching professional sports. He also enjoys traveling and learning about other cultures.
