123 Added to the Roll

On December 14, 123 graduates and their families filled the Alumni Hall auditorium for the College of Business Administration's (CBA) 11th annual December Graduation Recognition Ceremony.

Dean John Delaney and Associate Dean Edward Palascak presided over the event, welcomed the graduates and guests, and oversaw the awarding of graduate certificates. The graduation address was given by Davie S. Huddleston, vice president of human resources at PNC Financial Services Group. In his talk, titled "What I'm Sure Of", Huddleston spoke about the realities of entering the work world in uncertain economic times. Based on his 20 years in the field of college recruiting, Huddleston remarked on the unique preparation and talents of CBA students he has encountered, as well as their great potential for success despite the current economic challenges.

Music for the event was provided by the Windsor Brass Quintet and the Star Spangled Banner was performed by Chad Slyman, a CBA junior studying marketing. View a slideshow of photos from the ceremony.
