The University of Pittsburgh School of Business, home of the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, is ranked among the Top 50 Best Business Schools by U.S. News & World Report. The rankings released on April 7, 2026, ranked the Full-Time MBA program No. 46 and the Part-Time program and the Business Analytics specialty in the No. 44 spot.
This national ranking is based on several factors including employment ratings within three months of graduation and starting salary at those positions, median GMAT and GRE scores, and median GPA from undergraduate school.
“We are proud to be consistently ranked among the top 50. This recognition reflects what makes Pitt Business distinctive, an MBA experience grounded in hands on learning, close faculty engagement, and a powerful alumni network that opens doors for our students from day one,” says Rebecca Badawy, associate dean of MBA and Specialty Masters.
