Globally Ranked and Recognized

Your input makes a difference.

The University of Pittsburgh’s College of Business Administration and Katz Graduate School of Business are annually recognized as being among the best in the world when it comes to our academic programs, exceptional value, faculty quality, and innovative research. Our programs are regularly awarded rankings that reflect our excellence. That’s where you, as a Pitt alumnus, come in. Your feedback and participation are essential to maintaining our reputation and positive momentum in the rankings.

Our undergraduate, graduate, and executive programs have all achieved superior rankings in recent years. The rankings in which we actively participate include U.S. News & World Report, Poets & Quants, Financial Times, Forbes, and Bloomberg Businessweek. These rankings are widely viewed by prospective students, alumni and employers around the world.

Our status in the rankings is directly linked to our alumni participation. If you receive one of these surveys, please take a few minutes to share your Pitt experience.

Alumni of our Full-Time MBA program can generally expect to receive the ranking surveys below in the years after graduation:

Financial Times
3 Years after Graduation
Forbes
5 Years after Graduation
Bloomberg Businessweek
6 Years after Graduation

Undergraduate alumni can expect to receive a ranking survey for the Poets & Quants Undergraduate Business School Ranking two years after graduation.

All rankings have different methodologies, weightings, and survey groups which often lead to different results. We are proud of our many impressive accolades, but our priority will always continue to be preparing students for successful careers in a global business environment.

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT

As a transfer student into accounting, the accounting Kickstart really put things in perspective and helped orientate me on things I had to do to not fall behind.

Participating in the Plus3 Costa Rica program after my first year at Pitt Business has been one of the highlights of my college career so far. I was able to get early exposure to how global supply chains function, which helped me confirm that I wanted to study Supply Chain Management at Pitt Business.
