Anne Rivers, Executive Vice President of Strategy, PSB Research
Anne is a senior strategist, using deep research insights on people and brands to help her clients achieve their most important objectives. She currently serves as EVP of Strategy and Business Development at PSB, a leading strategy, insights and research consultancy and part of the WPP Group. We strive to help clients find “the why” to help build and optimize. Previously, she was Managing Director at BAV Group, leveraging the world’s largest study of brands to develop pioneering models of brand equity and brand valuation. At BAV she focused on brand strategy, segmentation, and brand architecture work across many categories including B2B and B2C brands. Anne’s prior experience includes leading the strategy, business development and corporate finance efforts for several private equity portfolio companies and dot coms. Anne was a Vice President in Investment Banking at Bear, Stearns focusing on retail and consumer companies. Anne is a frequent contributor to The Wall Street Journal and The Financial Times, and is a regular presenter at key industry forums including the Marketing Science Institute and the Advertising Research Federation. She holds a Masters in Business Administrations from NYU’s Stern School of Business and an AB in Economics from the University of Chicago. Anne has three children and lives in Pennsylvania.
