Social Entrepreneurship

Discover ways to implement solutions to social, cultural, and or environmental issues and problems through entrepreneurship. Join Enactus Pitt—part of an international nonprofit dedicated to inspiring students to improve the world through entrepreneurial action—and work together with leading corporate partners and fellow member universities to establish student programs on campus.

Experience social entrepreneurship in action on a global scale by studying abroad through Pitt in South Africa or the Berlin School of Economics and Law Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management Program.

Impact local and global organizations and communities and put the business skills you've developed in the classroom to the test in real-world scenarios by participating in a Woodcock Global Honors Fellowship (CPLE students) or by joining the Socially Responsible Investment club.

Case Competitions

Compete against students from undergraduate business schools across the United States in the annual Pitt Business Analytics Case Competition, offered in partnership with the Berg Center and DICK'S Sporting Goods. Use data analysis techniques to solve pressing issues in the retail space and provide recommendations to a panel of judges.
