We are excited to announce the Spring 2025 commencements will be combined into a single ceremony, on campus, for Pitt Business graduates at all levels. This unified ceremony brings together our school’s leadership, faculty, and staff to recognize our graduates. We look forward to a memorable and meaningful event for all of our graduates and their families.

Graduate Spring Ceremony FAQs
Spring Ceremony Details
- The ceremony begins at 11 AM (doors open at 10 AM).
- This is an unlimited ticketed event. No tickets will be given out.
- Guest seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- The ceremony should last approximately 2 hours.
- Students will be individually recognized as they walk in front of the stage at the ceremony.
- The Petersen Event Center’s Clear Bag Policy will be in effect.

Does everyone wear regalia?
- This is an academic ceremony and, as such, academic regalia is required to participate in the ceremony.
- Only those students in full academic regalia (cap, gown, and hood) will be permitted to participate. The only exception will be for those graduates in military uniform.
- Regalia can be ordered through the University Store on Fifth.
Will there be photography?
- GradImages, an external photography service, will take photos of all students as part of the procession to the stage. These photographs can be purchased directly from GradImages following the ceremony.
I graduate in December 2024, am I able to attend?
Yes, all of the Pitt Business December 2024 graduates are invited to attend the Spring 2025 Ceremony. You are automatically included in this list. Please continue to check your Pitt email for any updates.
Ceremony Photos of Graduates
Balfour & Co. (GradImages) takes individual photos of graduates and provides proofs to student Pitt email accounts for selections and purchase. Please direct any questions to their customer service at (800) 261-2576 or email ecc.giservice@gradimages.net. They have a team of customer care representatives ready to help graduates and family members.

Celebrating Our Graduates
Help us celebrate by sharing your story on Instagram. Download the graphic and add your photo and information. Tag Pitt Business on Instagram and we will share your submissions to our Stories and highlights.

2. Open Instagram Stories and select the template from your camera roll.
3. Add a sticker to upload a photo of yourself into the frame. Type in your name and major/degree, then add it below your photo. Share a message of thanks, your post-graduation plans, or any messages of congratulations to your class.
4. Make sure to tag your respective school.
