Throughout my time here, I have participated in opportunities to work and interact with organizations such as Deloitte, Accenture, Chamber of Commerce, Coca – Cola, etc. In fact, Pitt Business provided me with an opportunity to travel to Japan for the Global Research Practicum (GRP). During this time, I visited multiple companies, engaged with executives and alumni, conducted field research, and more than anything, experienced an important international culture. This trip strengthened my ability to think globally significantly.
Testing classroom learning in real environments through competitions, hackathons, and fellowships has been my favorite part. Winning these events gave me confidence that I can apply what I’m learning to solve actual business challenges. The combination of rigorous coursework and experiential learning has prepared me professionally for my career.
