Gaurav Kankanhalli is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh. He obtained his Ph.D. in Finance (2020) from the SC Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. Prior to that, he completed a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics and Management (2013) and an M.Sc. (with Distinction) in Financial Economics (2014) from the University of Oxford. His research is in empirical corporate finance, with a focus on the effects of uncertainty on corporate decisions, as well as innovation and entrepreneurship.
