Profile

Blair joined the Katz School having recently retired as a Partner from Oliver Wyman. During nearly three decades in aviation and aviation-consulting, he has served industry C-level clients across six continents. At Oliver Wyman, he also had responsibility for Training & Development for the firm’s 425 worldwide partners. 

Prior to Blair’s long tenure at Oliver Wyman, he held various management positions with Accenture, American Airlines, and United Airlines. He continues to have industry CEO advisory relationships including with Qatar Airways in Doha, Qatar and Virgin Connect Airways in London and Exeter, U.K. 

Blair has been published in leading aviation periodicals and frequently quoted in the general press, including The Economist, the Financial Times, and Time. 

With free flights and millions of frequent flyer miles, Blair has been able to travel to the corners of the globe. When he reaches 150 countries (current total: 135), he’s going to write a book about all the beauty and craziness he’s experienced.
