Profile
Carolyn Weisberger Mendelson has been teaching Business Law curriculum for the Katz School of Business since 1996 as an adjunct faculty member. She is a Pennsylvania licensed attorney who specializes in financial institution laws and securities regulations.
A former securities regulator and enforcement attorney, Carolyn is in private practice with the law firm of Clyde Snow & Sessions, LLC and part of its securities and regulatory practice group.
In addition to public service as an enforcement attorney, Carolyn also was an Outsourced Chief Compliance Officer and senior consultant for ACA Group, a leading provider of governance and risk management services. At ACA, Carolyn’s consulting clients were hedge funds, venture capital funds, foreign investment advisers, private equity, real estate funds, and ultra-high net worth private wealth managers.
Carolyn is a trained mediator and received mediation certification from the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania in 2015.
Her current courses are Business Law and Business Ethics. Previously, she has taught Tax Policy, Accounting and Finance Law, and Legal Environment of Business I & II for Katz and Business Law for EMBA.
