Profile
Todd Potts joined the faculty of the Katz School in 2025. Prior to joining Pitt, he was a Professor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Potts’ research interests include monetary economics, applied time series analysis, energy economics, applied macroeconomics, and the economics of sports. He has published in the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, the Journal of Sports Economics, Applied Economics, Applied Economics Letters, Resources Policy, and Energy Economics, among others.
Todd has extensive teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels, has supervised and/or served on the committees for numerous PhD students in Business Administration, and has served as faculty advisor the student investment club at his previous institution.
