Pitt Business Career Development Conference Goes Virtual! The Pitt Business Career Development Conference is attended by more than 80 world-class organizations that are seeking to hire for jobs and internships. All Pitt Business alumni are invited to attend the career fair as either a participant or as a recruiter. The event will take place on September 17th and 18th. More information can be found on the event website.

Ten Years of Rising in the Ranks: Katz Lands in the Top Five Business Schools Making the Biggest Climb

In a ten-year study by Poets&Quants, the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business was named as one of the top five business schools to have risen the most in MBA rankings between 2010 and 2019. In its impressive ascent, Katz ranked 64th in 2010 and broke into the Top 40 in 2019—currently ranked as the 39th MBA program in the U.S. Read more.

The global COVID-19 pandemic has impacted our world in more ways than we can comprehend just yet. But, when the pandemic started affecting job and internship offers for graduate business students, the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business Career Management Center (CMC) stepped in. New Monthly Webinar Series

Thank you to those alumni who responded to our virtual alumni engagement survey. As a result of that survey, we will feature a monthly webinar series designed to provide Pitt Business alumni the opportunity to participate in professional development opportunities and best financial practices utilizing our expert faculty and alumni.

Kicking off our webinar series is Donald R. Beall Professor of Strategic Management, John C. Camillus. Dr. Camillus will speak about strategic planning in a presentation entitled: “Strategic Planning in the Era of Pandemics, Climate Change, and the Kurzweil Singularity.” Please join us on Thursday, September 24 at 7:00 pm EST.
