Brewing the Supply Chain of the Future

Bill Dempsey is the Chief Procurement Officer for MolsonCoors Brewing Company. Molson Coors is a leading global brewer delivering extraordinary brands that delight the world's beer drinkers. It brews, markets and sells a portfolio of leading premium brands such as Coors Light, Miller Lite, Molson Canadian, Carling, Staropramen and Blue Moon across The Americas, Europe and Asia.
In his role, Bill and his team are responsible for collaboratively building strategic sourcing solutions for all MolsonCoors’ spend around the globe. They manage global activities ranging from strategic category sourcing to supply management to operational procurement. Bill also manages ingredient supply operations in the North America focused on barley and hops.
Prior to MolsonCoors, Bill was VP Global Procurement (CPO) at Shire. Bill also has prior Supply Chain/Procurement experience with MillerCoors and Supply Chain Consulting experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers and HBMaynard (now part of Accenture). He started his career as an Industrial/Operations Engineer at Roadway Package (now Fedex Ground).
Bill earned his MBA and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Currently, Bill lives in Golden, Colorado with his wife and three children.
