Accelerate Your Accounting Career
The MAcc consists of 30 total credits: 21 required credits and nine elective credits. All courses are three credits unless otherwise noted. Students who have previously completed an equivalent required course with a grade of B– or better may request a waiver; waived courses are replaced with additional electives.

Elective Courses — 9 Credits
The MAcc is designed with flexibility in mind. Students choose 9 elective credits from a diverse menu of courses that allows them to tailor the degree to their interests and career goals. Elective options span a wide range of topics, including financial statement analysis, business law, sustainability reporting, personal tax planning and wealth management, accounting data analytics, statistical analysis and programming, data mining, and emerging areas such as artificial intelligence in business. Students may also complete an internship for credit or participate in a graduate research practicum, domestic or abroad.
Elective availability varies by semester. To enroll in any elective, all course-specific prerequisites must be satisfied. Contact your advisor to plan your elective sequence.
