Profile

Jiayi Liu is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration (Information Systems and Technology Management) at the Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh. She received her Ph.D. in Information Systems and Operations Management from Emory University.

Her research sits at the intersection of healthcare operations, behavioral economics, and health IT. Using econometric and experimental methods, she studies how people and organizations make decisions, and how technology and policy shape efficiency and equity in healthcare. Her work has appeared in leading journals including Management Science, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Operations Research, and Production and Operations Management.
