Profile

Jiayi Liu is an Assistant Professor in Information Systems and Technology Management at the University of Pittsburgh School of Business. She received her Ph.D. in Information Systems and Operations Management from Emory University.

Her research sits at the intersection of healthcare operations, behavioral economics, and health IT. She studies how people and organizations make decisions in healthcare under uncertainty and operational constraints, and how technology and policy shape their choices. Her work has appeared in leading journals including Management Science, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, and Nature Human Behaviour.
